Oven Grilled Chicken Recipe

1 whole chicken
1/2 onion (optional)
3 garlic cloves
50 gr. butter
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 lemon
1 tablespoon herbs de Provence
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
Olive oil
ground black pepper
Salt

The first thing is to preheat the oven to 180°C.
While the oven is heating, in the tray preparing to roast the chicken, we drizzle a little oil, use an oil brush and place the finely chopped onions.

Then, add some salt, pepper, herbs of Provence, and butter cream to a small bowl and mix well. We take out the chicken, spread the mixture on all sides for flavor and then place it on the onions. This will give the oven-roasted chicken a very rich flavor.

On the other hand, we peel the garlic, cut it in half, remove the middle and place it on the chicken that we will roast.

Cut the lemon, squeeze a portion over the chicken, cut the other half in half and place on the baking tray to add flavor to the grilled chicken while grilling.

Mix white wine and chicken broth and pour half into the chicken dish. We put it in a hot oven and let the chicken cook for about 50 minutes (depending on the size of the chicken, so it’s convenient to observe over time).7,
We will check from time to time and pour in the remaining wine and broth to keep it from drying out. Finally, fry until golden for 5 or 10 minutes if you want crispy grilled chicken skin and enjoy

If you want the grilled chicken sauce to be thicker, you can put it in a pan over medium heat and mix it with a little cornstarch, stirring well until completely dissolved.
