Cabbage Beef Bake Recipe

1 pound minced beef

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cups cabbage, chopped

1 tin canned diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup cooked rice

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup beef broth

Preheat the oven to 175 °C and grease a 9×13 baking tray.

Brown the ground meat and onion in a large pan over medium heat until the meat is cooked and the onion is soft.

After draining off most of the fat, season the meat with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Place half the cabbage on the bottom of your baking dish, add the beef and onion slices on top, and pour over the cooked rice. Then, pour the undrained diced tomatoes over the rice

Place the remaining cabbage on top of the tomatoes and carefully pour the broth over everything, ensuring the dish is evenly moistened.

Cover the bowl with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes to letting the flavors meld together beautifully.
