Spring Salad

Spring salad with broccoli, bacon, cherry tomatoes, sweet peas, cheddar cheese, pasta shells and creamy ranch dressing.

Broccoli and Bacon Salad:
4 cups broccoli, blanched and cut into bite-sized pieces
10 slices bacon, cooked, drained and chopped
1 cup tomatoes marbles, whole
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup sugar snap peas, cooked
8 oz pasta shells, cooked
Ranch dressing:
⅔ cup mayonnaise
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons mix Ranch Mix

Broccoli and Bacon Salad:
In a large bowl, mix together chopped blanched broccoli, chopped cooked bacon, whole cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese grated, cooked sweet peas, cooked pasta shells.
Ranch dressing: In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and milk and add 1 or 2 tablespoons dry ranch mix. Mix well and taste to see if you need more dry ranch mix in the sauce.
Gradually add vinaigrette to large bowl containing salad ingredients.Some people like to add a lot of dressing to their salads, others don’t – let your taste guide you on how much dressing to add!
