  • 2 large Vidalia onions, cut into rings
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, or as needed

Let sit while you prepare the onions, or let them sit longer if you have time. Soaking will remove any bitterness.1. Melt two tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium heat.
