1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano .
1/4 teaspoon red pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons salted butter, melted
1 lemon, chopped
Chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)

Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Prepare the shrimp:
Pat the shrimp dry with kitchen paper. In a large bowl, toss peppers with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Make sure the peppers are well covered. Marinate the Shrimp:
Let the shrimp rest for 15-20 minutes. This allows the flavor to penetrate the shrimp.
Arrange in Baking Dish:
Place the marinated peppers in a single layer in the baking dish. To make the shrimp richer, drizzle the melted butter over the shrimp.
Oven baking:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the peppers are soft. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp to keep them soft.
To fry it crispy (optional):
If you want the top to be a little crispier, set the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes and keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Garnish and serve:
Remove roasted Cajun peppers from oven. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve hot:
Serve Cajun chili over rice, pasta or whole wheat bread to enjoy its delicious juices. To enjoy!
