Chicken Parmesan

4 chicken breast fillets
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 beaten eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 tablespoon dried oregano coffee
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper as needed
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup tomato-based marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.

Instructions :
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Use a meat mallet to spread the thickness of the chicken breast evenly.
Prepare a bread making station by placing three shallow plates next to each other. Fill the first dish with flour, the second with beaten eggs, and the third with a mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.Coat each chicken breast with flour, shaking off excess. Dip it in the beaten egg, then cover it with the breadcrumb mixture.
In a large frying pan, heat olive oil over medium to high heat.. Cook the breaded chicken breasts until browned on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and top each piece with a little marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve the chicken parmesan with extra marinara sauce on the side and enjoy!
